The near-death helicopter crash as a Navy pilot was Ryan’s wake up call. After that moment he began to see how God had been orchestrating divine interventions throughout his entire life. Although many of these interventions/pivots were “packaged” in a way he initially resisted, he began to realize God WAS answering his heart’s cry to lead him into his calling.

Ryan’s life message is this: “God WILL give you the desires of your heart and exceed your wildest expectations if you don't give up believing in Him. But it may very well look nothing like you expected it to at first, since the most important part of the journey is in trusting and relying on God to make it happen–in HIS ways and timing, which are often very different from ours.”
